Sherlock Holmes review
April 3rd 2010 22:43
I am just re-watching Sherlock Holmes, for all of you that missed it. It follows none of the book at all and stars Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law and Rachel McAdams.
It is a good film with some clever aspects, I especially enjoyed whenever Holmes was going to attack someone he would play through in his mind what he was going to do, and then do it.
Robert Downey Jr, is very good at eccentric characters, Sherlock Holmes is no exception. His performance is very good and his own interpretation of Sherlock Holmes seems like he is the True Holmes.
The general plot is good, but not the most original, it is enjoyable but obvious. This seems to be the theme of the film, enjoyable but obvious. This does not detract from the film however, if you are truly focused in it you do not realize, but like me I am always on the look out for something bad to say about a film.
If you haven't already seen it, watch it and comment on what you thought of it.
